Book covers

Once in a while I stumble upon old books or classics that I’d like to read. If they happen to be in the public domain, I like to typeset the text myself, design a cover and print the book at a print-on-demand printer. Here is a couple of examples. The Sherlock Holmes books have exerpts from the text on the cover, with the name Sherlock Holmes and the title of the book highlighted. For the Jack London books I wanted to do something very different from the many howling-wolf-on-hill-in-pine-forest covers out there. I also wanted to show that the dogs in these books are composed of several personalities, races, of civilisation and the wilds.
